Data used for "We Can't All Get What We Want, But Can We Avoid Getting What Most of Us *Really* Don't Want?"

The data were collected between March 18-21, 2016 through the Understanding America Study at the University of Southern California.
The data set contains one row per participant. Below is a list of variables we use in our analysis.

uasid: Unique identifier for each participant in the UAS survey
el001: Chosen "best" candidate
el002: Chosen "worst" candidate
el003a: Rating of Hillary Clinton
el003b: Rating of Ted Cruz
el003c: Rating of John Kasich
el003d: Rating of Bernie Sanders
el003e: Rating of Donald Trump
el003_randomizer: Type of rating the participant received. (unstructured = 1, expected utility = 2)
