What First Inspired Me to Pursue This FieldThrough my college and graduate-school years, I found it joyful and fascinating to support and contribute to different areas in social sciences. I love the interdisciplinary vibe and the ability to use powerful tools to make the work better!

Recent FindingIn an assessment of people's desire for hastened death, we were able to create a succinct version that preserves assessment accuracy. This is important, because terminally-illed patients (e.g., cancer or AIDS patients) are able to receive more efficient screening for their psychological states without too much additional burden to their already heavily-loaded life.
