CESR has moved to the USC University Park Campus! We are proud residents of the new multidisciplinary building, the Verna and Peter Dautrive Hall. We plan on being part of an exciting conference featuring the work of the numerous centers in the building early Spring 2015.
July 2014: Gema Zamarro, senior economist at CESR had her work on financial education and educational achievement recently presented in a conference organized by the National Institute for Education Evaluation (INEE) (Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports), Spain. Arthur A. Stone, senior behavioral scientist and professor of psychology at CESR and head of the Center for Self-Report Science was recently featured in The National Academies' InFocus for the report produced by a National Research Council panel he chaired on Measuring Subjective Well-Being in a Policy-Relevant Framework. Arie Kapteyn, Director of CESR, recently participated in the UCLA Retirement Savings Symposium, a public forum for the discussion of innovative proposals by some of the world's largest investment managers for the California Secure Choice Retirement Savings Program. February 2014: CESR Economist Juan Saavedra recently attended his book launch in Bogota, Colombia. He was joined, among others, by the president of Colombia. A copy of the book can be downloaded here.
January 2014: CESR Associate Economist Marco Angrisani had some of his work on retirement decision making featured in an article of the online supplement of the Wall Street Journal, Market Watch.
